It’s been a while, but I’m thrilled to announce that Angela Collins Yachts is once again diving into the world of yacht building, I’m back to my roots—creating beautiful, high-quality yachts designed to bring families the ultimate cruising experience.

Back in 2000, I founded Angela Collins Yachts, a brokerage that quickly became known for matching clients with the perfect vessels. A couple of years later, I decided to expand into yacht building, starting with the Parlay 40—a 40-foot catamaran also in collaboration with marine architect Angelo Lavranos, I designed the BlueBay37, a monohull that became a popular choice for cruising enthusiasts. I spent many successful years bringing these designs to life before selling my business in late 2007.

now again fast forward to 2025, I’m excited to announce that I’ll be building the Tosca 39. This stunning family cruising yacht, designed by the talented Angelo Lavranos, is a proven design with a center cockpit, a spacious aft cabin, and a sleek sugar scoop stern. With its beautiful lines and a beam that ensures stability and comfort, the Tosca 39 is the ideal yacht for short-handed cruising, allowing you to experience the joy of sailing with ease.

What makes this even more exciting is that it’s been over 20 years since a monohull has been built in South Africa—most yards here are focused on catamarans. I’m bringing back the monohull, and I’m doing it with a focus on quality, affordability, and craftsmanship. This is a yacht that’s perfect for family cruising or simply enjoying some quality time on the water, without the hassle of maintaining an old boat.
